If you think your kids’ toy room is overwhelming, wait until you see the one at the Forbes Galleries. This free exhibit features thousands of playthings, some of which are hundreds of years old. Standouts include more than 500 toy boats, 10,000 miniature soldiers and one of the original versions of the classic game Monopoly. Your family will feel like babes in Toyland as you experience this amazing museum, located in the lobby of Forbes magazine’s headquarters. This ongoing, permanent exhibit is open daily from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday. Along with the toys display, the galleries also have a number of traveling pieces that include rare paintings, historic pictures and one-of-a-kind jewelry. Larger groups can arrange private tours by calling ahead and making reservations.
