“If I had $1 million” . . . you know how the Barenaked Ladies’ song goes, right? In answer to the loaded question in the lyrics, many a mom and dad would probably try to pay one of their favorite bands to rock out to some music that is both kid-friendly and parent-pleasing. Fortunately, that is exactly what BNL has done with their Snacktime album. The group’s first collection of children’s songs was released on May 6 and features clever, catchy ditties such as “Raisins,” “My Big Sister,” and “Here Come the Geese.” So, grab the CD or download individual songs from the Web (Youtube might be a good place to start), and blast the music as loud as you can in your living room during your very own at-home dance party! Just make sure no one’s napping upstairs, of course.
