Want to ride a historic railway? The Pennsylvania Railways have two local lines that offer fun and educational trips through the West Chester area and New Hope/Ivyland. Travel the rolling hills and valleys in Bucks County with the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad. The 50-minute ride allows passengers to visit the “Golden Steam Era” in style. Trips leave hourly Mondays through Fridays from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Take a ride with the West Chester Railroad Company and revel in a one-hour jaunt through Delaware and Chester counties, with stops in West Chester and Glen Mills. As an added bonus, you will often see deer and foxes along the way. In West Chester, there is only one ride on Sundays, which leaves the Market Street Station at noon. Save $1 per ticket by ordering online for Ivyland.
