Commerce Bank’s Summer Reading Program is offering $10 to any kid who reads 10 books by the end of September: No strings attached. All your little Einstein has to do is open a new Young Savers Account and log book names onto a handy pamphlet provided by the bank, and the money will start flowing. Reading brochures are available from any Commerce Bank branch or can be downloaded on the Commerce Bank Web site. Your child will gain both $10 and fantastic reading skills. The only question left is who will do household chores for pennies when there is gold waiting to be had just for reading a book!
