There’s nothing more beautiful or relaxing than ballet dancers . . . or a walk through a freshly bloomed garden. So, it only makes sense that combining the two would be a fantastic way to spend a Sunday! Join the New York Botanical Garden for Ballet among the Blooms, an event for children ages two through 12. Starring World famous dancers from the New York City Ballet and the American School of Ballet, Ballet among the Blooms will be sure to show your family the connection between art and natural beauty. Against the gorgeous and whimsical backdrop of the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, these professional dancers lead children in simple routines, using the garden’s own Henry Moore sculpture, Large Two Forms, as inspiration. We can’t decide what’s better – a day watching dancers and studying flowers or tired tykes that are guaranteed to fall asleep upon arriving home.
