Each summer, the Academy of Natural Sciences hosts Tiny Tot Explorers, a program for three- and four-year-olds and their favorite adults. Together, kids and their caretakers focus on an exciting new theme through games, crafts, songs and museum exploration. Participants meet for hour-long sessions on Wednesday mornings. You have your choice of the 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. class or the 11:15 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. class. Sessions are held outside in the academy's children's nature center, and an appropriate snack is provided. Class size is limited to 10 adult/child pairs. Member fees are $17 per pair per session, and non-member fees are $20 per pair per session. To register, call 215.299.1060. Today’s class is titled Animal Senses! Children can learn about the way animals use their unique senses to walk, fly or catch their prey. Talk about a Wednesday walk on the wild side!
