If you think you’re inspiring your children technologically just because you let them look in the direction of your laptop without threatening them with a timeout, it’s time to reevaluate your kiddie-computer efforts. Apple Camp is to the rescue, with workshops in Mac usage for eight- to 12-year-olds at all Apple store locations. The tykes will receive lessons in everything from iPhoto and iMovie to GarageBand and iWork. Advanced registration is required (with parents being able to sign their blooming Steve Jobs up for two workshops at a time), and sessions last three hours. Call to learn about various classes, which are taking place until July 24, and get ready to share that coveted (and expensive) piece of machinery in your office that bears the Apple icon.
