Your flock is probably clamoring to relish those last precious moments of early-fall warmth. How about letting them spread those wings? Bartram’s Garden, Center City’s own little botanical paradise, houses enough flora and fauna to make Snow White proud. It’s also a fantastic place to unleash your brood among the wild. Don’t worry, though-Bartram’s animals are tame, and of the feathered variety. Stop by on the 10th to spy on the wide variety of bird species that call the garden home. And if scouring the dirt and woodlands for feathers, nests, and other remnants of birds-gone-by is your idea of a swinging Monday afternoon, you’ll have a blast. Also, be sure to stop by the Bartram House itself, as well as the Cider Press and other historic buildings in the gardens jurisdiction, which will have you longing to lose your Blackberry in no time.
