Up for a Pretty Little Picnic in the Park? ($)

Do: Picnic in the Garden at Chanticleer
Mondays through Sundays. Please check the Web site for updated information.

Before the chilly winds and icy snow come to Philadelphia, why not get outside and enjoy the warm weather while it lasts with a picnic in the park? Summer is winding down, but there is still time to take advantage of Chanticleer, “a pleasure garden” in the Main Line. For only $5 per adult (admission is free for children 16 and under), you can pack up the family and a picnic basket and blanket. Stretch out under flowering trees in the orchards or maybe set up your meal next to the vegetable gardens. Three special areas are designated throughout Chanticleer for picnicking. Whichever you choose, the entire family is bound to have a fun lunch and revel in the great outdoors. Soak up those rays and get some fresh air while you can!
